United Potato Growers of America is a Federated Cooperative Association made up of local or regional cooperatives of potato growers. United operates as a Capper-Volstead cooperative qualifying for a partial exemption from antitrust laws. As such, all members of the local or regional cooperatives are to be potato growers. Packers, distributors, marketers or brokers are not eligible for membership. Potato growers are invited to apply for membership in a local/regional United cooperative. United realizes that current and accurate information is one of the essential tools to assist growers in their planting and marketing decisions. United maintains an extensive data gathering and dissemination system in order that its members will have the most current and detailed supply/demand information. Such supply/demand information is primarily intended for United affiliated members, but dissemination to non-members is permitted. This website shall not be used for dissemination of any future pricing information or other information that can be used for anticompetitive purposes.
